"Snacker" Mobile Feeder for small ruminants

Easily supplement your livestock on pasture with this all mechanical "Snacker" trailer. It's simple, efficient and the design has been proven for decades in other livestock producing countries namely the British Isles and New Zealand. Their pasture is the main component of their livestock diet and a small amount of supplement is fed to "finish" lambs or boost ewe or other livestock performance on grass.

The Snacker, through supplementation, opens up the possibility of finishing lambs while also allowing you to easily flush ewes on pasture, which increases lambing percentages! Supplemented ewes can generally raise triplets as well on pasture which pays back for itself through better health of the sheep, more lambs per ewe, and well-adjusted lambs that are accustomed to supplementation.

Supplementing can reduce summer slump with cool season grass and help minimize effects of fescue on livestock. One half to one pound of shelled corn is usually all you need per ewe.

The Snacker allows for the freedom and flexibility to feed your livestock anywhere you want to minimize pasture damage.

The Snacker is easier and more efficient than creep feeders on pasture. Because it's a trailer there is no unnecessary space usage on the vehicle; a problem that a mounted cake feeder poses. 

Unlike most cake feeders that dispense the feed to the side of the vehicle, causing the livestock to swarm the vehicle, the Snacker drops individual piles of feed out from the back where it draws the livestock TO the back and therefore out of dangers way keeping the animals safe from injury.

The livestock quickly learn to follow the Snacker allowing them to be lead with ease to any part of a farm or property.

Livestock health can be monitored and managed easier using this system as they all readily come to the feeder. This allows an individual assessment of each animal's condition as they circle the piles of feed.

Safety is not an issue as you will be much safer due to the distance the Snacker creates between the operator and the livestock reducing risk of injury to oneself!
