Horizontal Bar Hay Ring

After trying almost every hay feeder design for small ruminates, from access panels to collapsible feeders to cradle hay feeders, we have settled on and are very pleased with two round hay ring designs, the Horizontal bar Hay Ring and the Slatted Hay Ring, that are essentially small versions of round bush feeders for cattle.

The incredibly efficient design of these hay rings allow easy access while also limiting waste. The design of these hay feeders has consistently proven to encourage better consumption of undesirable feed, such as stemmy 1st cuttings hay, while eliminating much waste over all the other competing designs!

The horizontal Bar Hay Ring with its horizontal bars prevent lambs from entering into the feeder, so that your hay won't get soiled. With this particular style hay ring, mature sheep can still use it but cannot reach as far into the middle as the slatted design. It's perfect for a ewe with her lambs. This hay ring is made to last!!
